Obituary Fadil Osmanovic, 63, of New Bern, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, Morehead City. Fadil was born in Bosnia on February 23, 1953, to Mujo and Saja Alic. He was one of 9 children. He worked with Civil Service at Cherry Point and loved his family, fishing and soccer. He is survived by his daughter, Mia Nicholls, and husband, Kris; son, Moris Osmanovic, and wife, Julie, all of Charlotte; ex-wife, Munira Osmanovic, of New Bern, and two grandchildren, Quinn and Tyson Osmanovic. He is also survived by his remaining family in Bosnia. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Fadils name to the International American Red Cross, P.O. 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
