Obituary Florence T. Michel, 86, of Morehead City, formerly of Westover, MD and Jersey City, NJ, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at her home. A servie will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 13, 1928 to Stewart Cochrane Treen and Florence Elizabeth Snyder Treen. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Michel Ackermann and husband, Charles, of Beaufort and Lorraine Merry Michel of Arlington, VA; sons, Walter Gerald Michel of Beaufort and William Robert Michel and wife, Kristin, of Princess Anne, MD; grandchildren, Jeffrey W. Michel, Brian E. Michel, Christine M. Butler, Linda E. McCarthy, Susan E. Camper, Lauren M. Hawke; great-grandchildren, Madison N. Michel, Morgan W. Michel, Connor J. Michel, Ryan N. Michel, Evangeline L. Michel, Brooks W. Butler, Hannah M. Butler, Halle C. Butler, Brayden T. McCarthy. In addition to her parents, her husband, Walter Ferdinand Michel; grandson, Steven C. Ackermann; and great-granddaughter, Alexis J. Hawke, preceded her in death.
