Frank B. Parker

Obituary Frank B. Parker, 83, of Morehead City, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Crystal Coast Church-Nazarene in Morehead City. Frank was born in Morehead City, NC to the late Frank Parker and Katie Willis Parker Richardson on August 18, 1938. He enlisted in the Air Force at age 17 and was a Korean War Veteran. Frank worked as a tugboat captain for 45 years with the International Union of Operating Engineers. In his retirement years he enjoyed spending time wood-carving and enjoying his family. Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy Parker; daughter, Mindy Edge and husband Bryan of Elizabeth City; daughter, Jennifer Parker and fianc, Amer Malik of Asheville; son, John Parker of Morehead City; grandchildren, Ryan Horton of Boone, and Alexis and Slade Edge of Elizabeth City; sister-in-law, Margaret Parker and nephews, Robert Parker and Robert Jeffrey Parker; brother-in-law, Charles Goldman and wife Camilla; sister-in-law, Phyllis Wood ad husband Keith; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
