Obituary Hubert "Paul" Smith, 80, of Cedar Island, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home. At his request there will be no service. He is survived by his sisters, Clara Mason of Stacy, Patsy McCormick of Yulee, FL, and brothers, Milton Smith, Jr., of San Diego, CA, Charles W. Smith of Cedar Island, Joe Smith of Beaufort, and Larry (Bobby) Smith of Morehead City. He was preceded in death by his father Milton Smith, mother Bessie Smith, sisters Golda Fulcher, Bonnie Smith and brother Eric Smith. Memorials may be made to the Carteret County Society, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570.
