Ivan Hurlburt

Obituary Ivan Lynn Hurlburt, 58, of Beaufort, died on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Carteret General Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Parkview Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Mills, officiating. Mr. Hurlburt was born on April 18, 1955, in Wellsville, NY, to Ivan Charles Hurlburt and Virginia Gail Rogers Hurlburt. He is survived by his wife, Debra Harris Hurlburt; daughters, Virginia Marie Van Der Decker of Newport and Elizabeth Ann Garcia of Newport; son, Ivan Richard Hurlburt; and 10 grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. No visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hurlburt Family, 106 Dixie Street, Beaufort, NC 28516.
