Obituary Kay Pullen Wrixon, 86, of Morehead City, died on Monday, November 10, 2014, at Harborview Health Care Center, Morehead City. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Brooks Funeral Home. Mrs. Wrixon was born February 9, 1928, in Englewood, NJ to Guy Foote and Ingrid Wester Pullen. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. For more than 16 years, she was active in the Brandywine Bay Association, in charge of keeping the grounds landscaped and clean. She was the Grounds Committee and she enjoyed gardening. She was a New York Times crossword puzzle wizard. Kay was a friend to all she met, and will be missed by her many friends, who were very important to her. She is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Caruso of Montoursville, PA and Stuart Caruso of Lairdsville, PA; daughter, Karen C. Bozzone, and her husband, Stephen, of Hillsborough, NC; 4 grandchildren, Kaylee Caruso, Janelle Caruso, Jessica Caruso and Nicholas Bozzone; brother-in-law, Russ Brewer; niece, Barbara Ariola, of Setauket, NY, and nephew, Doug Brewer of Alexandria, VA. In addition to her parents, her husband, Harry Wrixon and her sister, Jacqueline Brewer, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association of NC, P. O.
