Obituary Marion "Kitty" Lynch Hill, 89, of Beaufort, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at her home. Her memorial service will be Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home, with Rev. James Chadwick officiating. Kitty was born in Carteret County on July 23, 1928, to Harry Lee and Martha Chaplain Lynch. She received her nursing degree from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in New Jersey. She retired as the Head of Pharmacy from Carteret General Hospital in 1976. She was a dedicated volunteer for the March of Dimes for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Diane MacKizer, and husband, Mark, of Forest, VA; son, David Hill, and wife, Jeanne, of Beaufort; brother, John Lynch of Greenville, NC and sister, Sue Katje, of Williamsburg, VA; 3 grandchildren, Hillary Whitlow, Curtis Whitlow, and Norris J. Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service. In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Norris A. Hill, and a brother, Clifton Lynch.
