Obituary Marjorie Zukunft, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Carteret Landing in Morehead City. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Gardens with a memorial service at a later date Marjorie was born in New Haven CT to Frederick and Alexandra Menzies. She and her husband Carl raised their family in North Branford, CT, and worked in the North Branford schools throughout her career. In 1988, Carl and Marjorie moved to NC. She is survived by her daughter Karen Z. McGuiness and James McGuiness of Morehead City, NC; Son Paul Zukunft and Fran Deninno of Honolulu, HI; Son Erich Zukunft and Nadine M. Zukunft of North Branford, CT; Grandchildren, Christine McGuiness of GA, Megan M. Theiling of NC, Heidi Z. Diliberto of AL. Erika Z. Law of AL, Ellen McGuiness of MD, Nastassia Z. Paulson of CT, Brett Zukunft of CA, and Spencer Zukunft of CT; and her 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Zukunft; Parents Fred and Alexandra Menzies, and Grandson Jered Zukunft.
