Obituary Ramona Wilton Savage, 87, of Morehead City died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, at Ameriah Garner Cemetery, Newport. She was born November 24, 1928 in Newport, NC to Charles Harold Wilton and Addie Garner Wilton. She was employed by NADEP as a time keeper at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Mrs. Savage was also employed by the Ford and Chevrolet Dealerships in Morehead City. Being an animal lover, she volunteered as the secretary at the Carteret County Humane Society for many years. She is survived by her grandsons, Russ Lamoureux of California and Ryan Lamoureux of New Jersey; one great-granddaughter of California; nephews, Charles Wilton and Tommy Youngblood; nieces Mona Boyd, Jennifer Turner and Phyllis Wesson and many special great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special caregivers of the last several years. In addition to her parents, her husband, Jack Savage; daughter, Sandy Green; sister, Irene Youngblood; and brother, Harold Wilton preceded her in death.
