Amanda Vaughan, 39, of Havelock, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Morehead City.

A visitation will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home Chapel.

First and foremost, Amanda was a loving mother. She loved her son, Maddox, and daughter, Chalice, with all of her being and bragged to everyone about them. They were both her pride and joy.

Amanda will be known for her love of nature. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her house plants, she also loved sunflowers. She was creative and enjoyed painting. Amanda will be most known for being positive and upbeat no matter what she faced in life.

She is survived by her son, Maddox Lynch of Havelock; daughter, Chalice Lynch of Havelock; mother, Pamela Clark Vaughan of Newport News, VA; grandmother, Lori Lynch of Havelock; sister, Susan Elizabeth Vaughan of Havelock; nephew, Josiah Vaughan of Havelock; several aunts and uncles; and her beloved fur baby, Kashmere,.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Larry Edward Vaughan; grandmother, Alice F. Vaughan; and fur babies, Nova, Lola, and Kiki.
