Ann "Betty" Bullard

Ann “Betty” Bullard, 89, of Morehead City, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City.

The family will celebrate her life privately. 

She was the author of 16 books and an avid fan of history.

She is survived by her son, Chris Scot and wife, Tammy of Morehead City; four grandsons, Kyle Gill of Louisa, VA; Cory Gill and wife, Jessica of Louisa, VA; Jesse Colosimo and wife, Caitlin of Charlottesville, VA; Cameron Scot and wife, Becca of Salt Lake City, UT; four great grandchildren, Cara Gill of Louisa, VA; Vanessa Colosimo of Charlottesville, VA; Brantley Colosimo of Charlottesville, VA; Everleigh Colosimo of Charlottesville, VA.

She was preceded by her parents and a brother, her husband, Bill Bullard and a daughter, Sharon Gill.
