Carol J. Manocchio

Carol J. Manocchio (née Phelan), 76, of Morehead City, NC, formerly of Forest Hills, NY, went to be with her Lord on 9/28/2024. 

Carol was a sweet, wonderful woman with a beautiful soul and an adventurous heart. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had an immense love for animals and spent time pet sitting for friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed meeting new people, traveling, crafting, word puzzles, playing cards and visiting the nearest casino for some slot-machine fun!

 She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Manocchio, her parents George and Dorothy Phelan, her brother Richard Phelan and numerous other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. She is survived by her Sister-in-Law Lorraine Manocchio and her nephew Robert Norris (Lisa) both of Las Vegas, NV, her Cousin Karen Gutowski of Hobe Sound, FL, her Cousin Christine Gutowski of Morehead City, NC, her Cousin John Gutowski (Amanda) of Mesa, AZ, her Cousin Peter Gutowski (Amy) of Raleigh, NC and numerous other family members.

 The family wishes to thank the Staff of Carteret Health Care and the Staff of the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House for their kind and loving care. She was laid to rest alongside her husband at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY. The Noe-Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead City, NC, assisted the family during this time.
