Charlene Godfrey, 61, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Morehead City, weather permitting.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Godfrey; daughter, Savanna Godfrey; mother, Mary Walker; and brother, Mike Walker.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Walker.
