Connie Corbett Lucas, 79, of Newport passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport.
Connie worked as a nurse in several different counties in North Carolina for over 25 years.
The family will celebrate her life privately.
She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Fritzinger Almany and husband, Jeff of Newport; brother, Gary Corbett and wife, Ann of Snow Hill; sister, Patricia Corbett Ayers and husband, Kevin of Snow Hill/Newport; sister-in-law, Frances Corbett of Newport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Edna Corbett; brother, Bill Corbett.
