Obituary Debra "Debbie" Irene Atwood, 60, of Newport, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at her home. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 23, 2016, at First Free Will Baptist Church, Beaufort with the pastors, the Rev. Richard Patterson, and the Rev. Dennis Wiggs officiating. The committal service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the Eason Family Cemetery, Princeton. She was born on September 28, 1956, in Salem, Oregon and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Beaufort Debbie is survived by her husband, Jeffery Atwood, of the home; daughter, Angela Johnson, of Tampa, FL; son, Bryan Johnson, of Clyde, Ohio; step-daughter, Kesha Atwood, of Havelock; brother, Daniel Camenzind, of Oceanside, CA; sister, Tari Polk, of Texas; a sister-in law, Gaye Atwood, of Beaufort; 2 grandchildren, Bronx Johnson and Kiara Atwood Hernandez; and best friend, Melody Brooks. In addition to her parents John Stone and Sally Benz, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter Lux Emory Johnson.
