Dennis "Jerry" McAtee

Dennis “Jerry” McAtee, 86, of Havelock, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport.

Jerry served for over 20 years in the USMC.

He is survived by his wife of over 64 years, Marlene McAtee of Havelock; three daughters, Brenda Huffman and husband, Richard of Havelock; Adria Waddell of Havelock; Deborah Shanks and husband, Brian of Newport; son, Dennis McAtee II of Newport; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and his six siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three grandsons, Greg, Tracy, and Dennis Ellison.
