Obituary Ervin Robert "Bob" Meadows of Swansboro, NC died Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born January 16, 1933 in Iroquois, WV to Irvin Ross Meadows and Naomi Ethel Hylton Meadows. Mr. Meadows was a graduate of Richlands High School, Richlands, VA. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He coached little league sports, was a member of the National Rifle Association and Richlands Masonic Lodge #318. He is survived by his wife Gail Meadows; sons, Toby Meadows of Emerald Isle, NC, Tim Meadows of Swansboro, NC, Tad Meadows of Winterville, NC and Jason Meadows of East Northport, NY; sister, Margaret Van Dyke of Doran, VA; brothers, Danny Jennelle of Pounding Mill, VA and Leroy Jennelle of Richlands, VA; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his step-father, Eugene Jennelle and son, Tony Meadows preceded him in death.
