Evelyn Barrow

Evelyn Barrow, 83, of Cedar Point, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Westview Cemetery in Kinston, at a later date, to be announced.

Evelyn was born and raised in Lenoir County and raised her own family in Kinston, NC. She was the co-owner of United Sales and Rentals and the Wicker Loft in Kinston, NC.

She is survived by her two sons, Clarence Perry Gardner (Amanda) of Pink Hill, David Bryan Gardner (Nancy) of Raleigh; daughter, Kelly Gardner May (Tommy) of Fountain NC; three grandchildren, Jessica Gardner Adams, Perry Gardner Jr., Haley Caroline Gardner; three great grandchildren, Tyler Kate Adams, Elliette Adams, and Sullivan Adams; and her sister, Emma Lee Jones.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Barrow; her parents, Konrad McCoy Rouse and Mary Alexander Rouse; sisters, Mildred Suits, Dorothy Hunter, and Linda Howard.
