Gina Louise Wyman, 48, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Craig, Colorado. She faced life's challenges with a brave fight, strength, courage and hope. Born on September 12, 1977, in Craig, Colorado, Gina’s life was a vibrant tapestry of adventure, compassion, and dedication to her family and passions.
A service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Beaufort.
Gina spent her formative years in North Carolina, where she graduated from West Carteret High School in 1996. During her time there, she found joy as a member of the Marching Patriots and from then on music was in her heart. Frank Sinatra became her favorite and she was always dancing! Her love for the beach and the sea was cultivated during these years, creating cherished memories that stayed with her throughout her life.
A true adventurer at heart, Gina embraced life with fearless enthusiasm. From swimming with dolphins to cliff diving in Hawaii and exploring off-the-grid locations in Colorado, she sought out experiences that brought her closer to nature and the world around her. She especially loved activities on sand and sea, which reflected her deep connection to the outdoors.
Gina had an unwavering passion for animals, particularly dogs. Her home was always filled with the love of companions she rescued from shelters. This devotion to animals was a testament to her kind and compassionate spirit.
Professionally, Gina dedicated herself to health care as an Emergency Medical Technician. Her work reflected her commitment to helping others during their most vulnerable moments.
Gina will be remembered for her humor, sharp wit and steadfast love for her family. She is survived by her spouse, Amy Dawn Wright (Craig, CO); stepchildren Jeffrey Owen Wright and Ravena Elizabeth Wright; her mother, Victoria Lynn Morris (Phillip) of Morehead City, NC; her father, Steven Kirk Wyman (Sharon) of St. Simons Island, GA; her brother, Thomas Sheldon Wyman (Candice) of Morehead City, NC; nephew Walter Harvey Wyman; niece Winnie Scott Wyman; her grandmother, Helen Marie Casti, of Newport, NC; including an aunt and uncle and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harvey A. Wyman and Veda Louise Wyman as well as her grandfather, James E. Casti, her aunts Harva Lou Buchanan and Betty Ann Unruh.
In addition to family members mentioned above, Gina was surrounded by love and cared for with devotion by Amy, Paul, Bry, and Tressa.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Andrea from Northeast Colorado Health Hospice for providing compassionate care during Gina’s final days.
May Gina Louise Wyman’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
