Obituary Henry George Wendel, Jr., 53, of Morehead City, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Wendel was born January 6, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. He is survived by his father Henry George Wendel of Morehead City; brother Robert Wendel and wife, Kathy, of Mebane, NC, Anna Merced and husband, Marty, of Atlantic Beach, NC; one niece and one nephew. His mother, Mary Regina Wendel preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
