He was preceded in death by his parents, James Banister Sr. and Joyce Gay Price; and his sister, Sherri Paige Bynum. James is survived by his two sons, Courtney James Hodges and Justin Banister Price; and sisters, Donna Price Johnson and Robin Price Rush.
