Jerry Ashley

Jerry Ashley, 91, of Trent Woods, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at ECU Health in Greenville.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, 908 South McKay Avenue, Dunn, N.C. 28334. The service will be officiated by Pastor Greg Dickerson.

Jerry worked as the manager of Leaders Clothing Store in Dunn for twenty years. He retired as manager of Machine Welding & Supply (ARC3) in New Bern, NC. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in New Bern.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Deborah Ferrell Ashley of Trent Woods, NC; his daughter, Terry Ashley of Conover, NC; his two sons, Dwight Ashley Jr. of Erwin, NC, and Andrew Ashley (Güler) of Stanfield, NC; granddaughters, Ann Marie Moore, and Tiffany S. Ashley; and a special family member, Debbie Ashley; and special friends, Buzz and Georgia Pope, and Mike and Etta Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eula Ashley and his granddaughter, Heather Ashley.
