John Albright

John Howard Albright, 78, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

John was born in Buffalo, New York where he graduated from high school and then joined the United States Navy. He was a Vietnam veteran, longtime member of Patriot Guard Riders, VFW Auxiliary, and Law Order of the Moose. He was the co-owner/operator of Albright Painting, along with his wife Patti.

He is survived by his brother, Howard Kraus of Amherst, NY; sister, Betty Lou Tranter of Grand Rapids, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Patricia Albright; parents, Howard G. Albright and Elizabeth W. Murdoch Albright; and a sister, Ann E. Albright Lee.
