Joseph Dixon

Joseph Dixon, 88, of Havelock, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home in Havelock.

Joseph retired as a Master Sergeant from the USMC with 25 years of service and went on to work another 20 years aboard Cherry Point with the Civil Service.

A funeral service will be held in St. Louis, MO.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marlyn Dixon of Havelock; daughter, Sydney Dixon of Havelock; son, Dominic Dixon and wife, Tammy of Havelock; daughter, Shalom Dozier of Havelock; granddaughter, Shalom Dixon of Havelock; four sisters, Hattie Dixon; Maxine Havery and husband, Richard; Shirley Price; Rubie Patterson and husband, Josh all of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marleaner Chism.
