Lillian Godette Stewart

Lillian Godette Stewart, 76, of Beaufort, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

Lillian was a teacher with the Head Start Program for 30 years, which she truly enjoyed.

A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Ocean View Cemetery in Beaufort. In keeping with Lillian's spirit, casual attire is requested.

Lillian is survived by her 2 sons, Perri Stewart of Wilmington, NC and Corey Stewart of Beaufort, NC; and 1 sister, Ryan Godette Martin of Morehead City, NC.

She is the daughter of the late William and Inez Godette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stewart, who passed away in 2013.
