Linda Taylor

Linda Wickizer Taylor, 80, of Morehead City, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda worked with the Carteret County School System as a teacher’s assistant for over twenty years. She found satisfaction working with the students and she made a positive impact on many lives. No matter what she was doing, she was always a hard worker willing to put forth the effort to get the job done.

She took delight in a variety of activities throughout her life; including painting, gardening, ceramics, flying, boating and spending time with her pets. Mostly, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved very much.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Oceanview Cemetery in Beaufort.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Janet Fulcher and husband, Travis of Morehead City; grandson, Conner Daily Fulcher of Morehead City; brother, Robbie Lewis and wife, Laura of Beaufort; sister, Anna Kathryn Lewis of Morehead City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Clyde Lewis Jr.; both of her husbands, Victor Homer Wickizer Jr. and John William Taylor; brother, Kenneth Bryan Lewis; nephew, Kenneth Bryan Lewis Jr.
