Madi Jan Fox

Madi Jan Fox, 67, of Morehead City, NC, passed away at home on June 4, 2026.

Madi loved the outdoors and nature, but especially loved foxes. She also enjoyed spending her time at the beach, going fishing and walking the boardwalk. She had a big heart for animals, including her cat, Shadow, and her dogs, Popeye and Bluto. Her favorite colors are blue and maroon and made statements with those colors included.

Madi had a significant other, Richard McCoo, where they spent 25 years together. She adored her children; Jamie Dunn, Jennifer Simon, and Jonathan Simon. She really loved the holidays and parties where her families would come together and spend quality time, laughing and making memories.

Madi's family thanks you for the support and prayers during this difficult time. She will be remembered by her loving tendencies and kindness towards everyone around her.
