Obituary Mary Ann Whisner, 69, of Emerald Isle, NC, formally of Keyser, WV, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern NC. A Liturgy of the Word will be held at Brooks Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11am. The family will receive friends for 1 hour following the memorial service. Mary is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, John Whisner; her two sons, John W. Whisner III and special friend Mellisa Haller of Emerald Isle and James A. Whisner and wife Katherine E. Whisner of Pittsburgh, PA; grandsons Aidan Harrison Whisner and Zachary T. Parocai; sister-in-law Janet Helman of Purgitsville, WV; as well as many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Elva Frankhouser.
