Meterrian Alexander

Meterrian Jamal Alexander, 22, of Morehead City, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at his home.

A proud 2022 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, Meterrian was cherished for his unforgettable smile and vibrant spirit. His love for basketball, the beach, the ocean, and music brought immense joy to his life and to those fortunate enough to know him. He was an amazing big brother and friend.

Meterrian will be fondly remembered by all who shared in his journey. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those who mourn his loss.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his mother, Morgan Hambrick of Morehead City; two brothers, Micah Osborne of Morehead City and Meko Osborne of Morehead City; two aunts, Hope Young of Morehead City; Becki Bailey and husband, Chris of Morehead City; cousins, Christopher McAliley of Mt. Holly, NC; Cameron Young of Greensboro; and special cousin that was more like his sister, Leila Young of Morehead City; maternal grandmother, Jamie Jenkins of Charlotte; paternal grandmother, Shirley Ingram of Charlotte; his best friend Jay; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff Jamal Alexander; aunt, Wendy Jenkins that he always called “Wee Wee”; step father, Calvin Osborne.
