Michael Alan Nuckols

Michael Alan Nuckols, 74, passed away on August 19, 2025 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Michael Alan Nuckols was born on December 7, 1950, to Harry Claude Nuckols and Jacquelyn Woodhouse in Norfolk, Virginia.

Michael was a member of the United States Air Force, after leaving the Air Force he worked as an electroplater for FRC east for 35 years before retiring in 2016.

Michael had a passion for music, singing in bands with his friends playing cover music. He enjoyed riding motorcycles for many years.

He married Joy Suzanne on November 2, 1984, and enjoyed 30 happy years with her before her passing in 2015.

He is predeceased by his father, Harry Claude Nuckols; his mother Jacquelyn Goodwin; and his wife Joy Suzanne Nuckols.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Shelby Virginia Love; son-in-law, Zackrey Love; granddaughter, Suzanne Jane Love; step daughter, Jennifer Rawls; and his brothers, Paul and Jeffery Gundacker.
