Michael Reardon

Michael Reardon, 68, of New Bern, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

Born on October 25, 1957, in Buffalo, NY, Mike was more than just a great mustache. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He never missed a Sabres or Bills game and loved playing video games with his brother Kevin, frisbee golf, his cats, and his granddaughters. Mike devoted his life to public service, serving four years with the Army and twenty-nine years as a Public Safety Officer at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center before retiring to New Bern, NC.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his children, Margaret, Conor, and Christian (Severina) Reardon; his siblings, Joseph (Helen) Reardon, Colleen (Raymond) Pofi, and Kevin (Anne) Reardon; his granddaughters, Hazel, Veda and Wren Cormier, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Joseph N. Reardon, and his mother, Marguerite (Petit) Reardon.

A celebration of life will be held in Buffalo, NY on a date to be determined.
