Nancy Whitley Coats, 80, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday November 30, 2023, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
No services are planned at this time.
Nancy was a long-time resident of Carteret County, as well as a retired schoolteacher, having taught for many years at Smyrna Elementary School.
She is survived by her stepson, David Christopher Coats, and a cousin, Carrie Ann Liverman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 56 years, Gilliam Ray Coats.
