Obituary Pierre D. Lassalvy, 95, of Newport, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at Carteret Heath Care, Morehead City. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Mr. Lassalvy was born in Paris France to Eugene J. Lassalvy and Armande S. Gardette. He immigrated to the United States in 1958, with his wife and two children. He is survived by his wife Pierrette Francois Lassalvy, a son Philip G. Lassalvy and wife Erna; a daughter Elizabeth L. Walsh and husband John; three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
