Roberto Tapia

Roberto Antonio Tapia passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.

A private memorial service will be held.

He was survived by his son, Robert Tapia II and his wife (Rebecca); his daughter, Maria Tapia (Justin); and his eleven grandchildren: Noah, Alexis, Bianca, Gabe, Isaac, Elijah, Jaylee, Jasiah, Ja’Kobe, Journey, and Ja’Lil.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Luz Tapia; father, Samuel Tapia; and his grandson, Anthony Tapia.

He was a proud and honorable Marine who served ten years and went on to serve as an aircraft mechanic for over twenty plus years at Cherry Point. He did two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was a very proud veteran.

He loved the water, fishing, and his family and friends, especially Sherry Tapia. He will forever be loved & missed by all who loved him.
