Morehead City

Ronald Martin Bryant, 66, of Mansfield, North Carolina, passed away on May 26, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Center, surrounded by the love of family. Born on May 16, 1959, at Carteret General Hospital, Ronald was a native of Bogue, North Carolina - a man who never forgot his roots. No matter where life took him, he carried home with him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Visitation will take place one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Mansfield Community Cemetery in Morehead City.

Ronald was known for his bold spirit, deep intellect, and the kind of charisma that drew people in without effort. He had a sharp mind and a thoughtful soul - always thinking, always feeling, always creating. Whether he was watching a Western or cheering passionately for his Dallas Cowboys or Duke Blue Devils, Ronald made everyday moments feel meaningful.

A skilled and respected cement mason by trade, Ronald took immense pride in his work. What he built stood the test of time - not just in concrete, but in character. People spoke of him with admiration, trust, and genuine respect. His craftmanship wasn't just about precision - it was about care, and people noticed.

More than anything, Ronald loved his family. He found joy in conversations with his sisters, laughter with his nieces and nephews, and quiet companionship from his beloved cats. He was loyal beyond measure. His presence filled every room he entered, and the stories he shared will be treasured for years to come.

He is survived by his three sisters: Glenda Roy of Morehead City, NC; Brenda Johnson of North River, NC; and Sharon B. Johnson (James) of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces, Melodie Reels of Morehead City, NC, and Jaclyn Johnson (Robert) of Raleigh NC; three nephews: Sylvester Johnson of Raleigh, NC; Daniel Johnson of North River, NC; and Jay Johnson of Orlando , FL; one aunt, Myrna Jacobs; and three uncles: Pastor Samuel Gibson Sr. (Caterine) of Bogue, NC; Willie Brown of Arlington, TX: and George Fuller (Pam) of Charlotte, NC; along with a host of great-nieces and nephews who each carry a piece of his legacy.

Ronald now joins his parents, Raymond and Josephine Bryant; his brother, Michael Bryant; his sister, Virginia Bryant; and his nephew, Sheldon Faison, in eternal rest

Though his physical presence is no longer with s, Ronald's mark on this world remains - in the family who loved him, in the work he built with his hands, and in the memories we carry and share. He will be truly missed, but never, ever forgotten.

Details for his memorial service and ways to honor Ronald's life will be shared with loved ones in the coming days.
