Obituary Roy David Thomas, 73, of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. A graveside service will be held at Amariah Garner Cemetery in Newport, NC at 2 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2022, with Chaplain Patrick Whaley officiating and military honors. The family will receive friends at the Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church following the service with a meal. Roy Davis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna Thomas; two children, James David Thomas and Mendy Thomas Hall of Newport, NC; and four grandchildren, Deanna Johnson, Kaydence Hall, Taylor Hall, and James David Thomas Jr. Condolences and life tributes may be sent to the family at NoeBrooks.net Arrangements by Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City, NC Services Graveside Service Sunday September 4, 2022 2:00 PM Amariah Garner Cemetery, Newport
