She is a graduate of St. Marys College, Raleigh. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Ray Barts, Jr. of Newport; daughter Maggie Frost and husband Matt, of Newport; Son, "Skip" Barts of Brooklyn, NY; Grandchildren Addie & Price Frost of Newport.
