Thomas "Tom" Jenkins

Thomas Franklin Jenkins (Tom) 75 of Newport, NC passed away April 17, 2026 peacefully at his home. 

He served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps. Following the Marine Corps, he worked for the same cable company for 41 years and was surely a workaholic.

Tom loved fishing and especially flounder gigging in his spare time. He loved cooking seafood and spaghetti. And even more than that, Tom loved his family. He shared 48 years of marriage with his wife, Vickie, and is survived by his sons Thomas Jr. and Bradley (Rhonda) and his four grandchildren Thomas III, Nathaniel, Lorelei, and Caroline. 

A celebration of life will be held at Holly Springs Original Free Will Baptist Church April 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm.
