Timothy "Scott" Greene

Timothy “Scott” Greene, age 49, of Stella, North Carolina, passed away at home on February 26, 2026.

Scott was born on July 22, 1976 in Kinston, NC, to Tim Greene and Rene` Heath. He graduated from Jones Senior Highschool in 1994 and went on to join the Army National Guard where he served our country for 4 years.

Scott loved and cherished his son, Grayson James Greene. They enjoyed spending time outside in the yard, riding bikes, and throwing around the football. He was also a big fan of racing and cars. You could find him outside tending to the yard as he was an avid landscaper and truly enjoyed his craft. Scotts knowledge of landscaping was unlike any other and he really had a green thumb.

Scott is survived by his mother Rene` Heath and son Grayson Greene, of the home in Stella; his father Tim and wife Karen, of Ennice, NC; his sister Kari Ann Greene and niece Timberly, of Stella; his step sister Savannah Spencer, of Richlands; his son’s mother, Elizabeth Andrews; and his uncle Terry and wife Sheila Heath. He also has many cousins who he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Heath and Edna Heath Carroll; his paternal grandparents, Earl F Greene and Annie Koonce Greene; his aunts, Frankie Greene Penny and Lucille Greene Eubanks.

The family will be having a backyard memorial service on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2 PM, open to friends and family at:

117 Trott Lane, off of River Oaks Drive, in Stella, NC.
