William Lee Johnson

William Lee Johnson, 87, passed away on June 6, 2026 in Morehead City, NC.

William was a retired Navy Veteran and earned the Five Navy Good Conduct Awards, Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, and the Navy Achievement Medal. He enjoyed walking his dogs around the neighborhood as well as riding around with friends sight-seeing.

He was married to the late June Johnson, who he is now reunited with along with many family members.

William is survived by his children, Kris & Bonnie; 2 grandchildren, Christina & William; 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella & Sophie. His siblings, Jim, Felicia & Terry.

A visitation will be held at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home from 5-7PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
