William Troy Simmons, 63, of Brandywine, MD, and a former native of Carteret County, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Amariah Garner Cemetery in Newport.
Troy is survived by his sister, Dawn Simmons of Crumpler, NC; niece, Destiny Freeman of Crumpler, NC; and his great-nieces Josephine Freeman and Addison Meyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy “Dick” Mason Simmons, and Jo Ann Moore Simmons.
