Evan “Brad” Pugh, 58, of Newport, passed away Monday, July 18,
2022, at his home.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 21, 2022,
at Tuttles Grove United Methodist Church with pastor Homer Morris and Jim
Stephens officiating. Interment will be held in Carteret Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 20, 2022, from 6-8 p.m.
at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Brad was born June 14, 1964, in New Bern NC., to Roy Augustus Pugh
and Lola Jane Pugh who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Debora Martin-Pugh, of Newport NC, children Justin Pugh of Newport NC, Christopher Groves of Wilmington NC, Jennie Pugh of Morehead City NC, Tiffany Pugh of Alabama; grandchildren Kassidi, Abigail and Liberty, he is survived by four sisters Carla Callis of TN., Fran Puckett and Husband Jimmy Puckett, of TN., sister Sandy Lee and Husband Tommy Lee of FL., Leann Simmons and husband Derrick Simmons of FL., five brothers Roy Pugh and wife Dawnette Pugh of TN, Tommy Pugh and wife Angie Pugh of AL., Everett Pugh, of AL., Johnny Pugh of AL., and Danny Pugh and partner Russell Burt of AL., several nieces and nephews, extended family and special friends. He is also survived by his two fur babies, Peaches and Onyx. Brads favorite time was to spend time with his family and friends and his two dogs. He loved to work and was a great jack of all trades, one of the last things he said was I love my whole famdamily and friends.
