Obituary

Gail M. Petri-Mascenik, 69, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, June 10, 2022. 

Gail was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. Gail enjoyed playing her Facebook games and Scrabble in her free time. She also enjoyed communicating with her friends online. She was a caring, loving, and selfless soul who touched the lives of many. Gail will be sadly missed by those who knew her. 

The family will celebrate her life privately. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dennis Mascenik of Newport; two daughters, Karen Bozilesky and husband, Brian of Easton, PA; Lisa Marie Mascenik of Newport; three grandchildren: Marissa, Jordyn, Zachary; brother, William A. Petri Jr and wife, Dorothy of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Dorothy Moy of Newport; brother, Fred Petri of Linden, NJ. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Petri.
