Jane "Kyte" Wilson

Jane “Kyte” Wilson, 60, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.

A Memorial Service Celebration will be held on Saturday Oct. 21st at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church at 2pm. 

She was born in Manhattan, New York. As a young child she moved to Morehead City, NC. where she spent the remainder of her life.  She enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing cards, and being the life of the party.  She was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Morehead City.    

In her latter years, she enjoyed trips to Philadelphia-spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Her sudden and untimely passing will forever leave a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.  

She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Tiffany of Philadelphia, PA (Troy); her father, James Henry Wilson of NC; one sister; Renee of Havelock, NC; three brothers; James of Morehead City, NC, Edward of Kinston, NC, Chris of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren, Fero and Noa; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther; her sister, Jalila, and her brother, Johnathan.
