Obituary
William "Bookie" Henry Gibbs Sr., 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2023, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC.
A memorial service will be held at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:30 a.m.
William is survived by one son, William Gibbs Jr. of VA; one sister, Carrie Wilson of DE; and special niece and nephews, Peaches Peterson, Edward Earl Montaque, and Bert Dunn all of NC.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Gibbs; two sisters, Richella Murrell and Dorothy Silimon.
